Claudine Barretto expressed her gratitude toward Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo. She said is eternally grateful to the Kapamilya actress.

In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on May 5, Barretto talked about her relationship with Santos-Agoncillo.
Barretto and Santos-Agoncillo have long been considered rivals in Philippine television.
But Barretto revealed that she and Santos-Agoncillo are good friends.
“You know, Judy Ann and I, people think we don’t get along, we never got along.
“But in truth is that even nung debut niya [May 1996 ], right after, I remember that was a Sunday and everything was closed, the after-party was in my condominium…”
She continued, “Ang dami naming pinagdaanan ni Judy Ann it’s just that during that time kung baga para kaming mag-boyfriend-girlfriend ni Judy Ann. Bawal kaming makita sa labas [na magkasama] kasi ayaw ni Tito Alfie kasi dapat daw ala-Nora-Vilma.”
Barretto then recalled how Santos-Agoncillo claimed that they are both ‘Teleserye Queens,’ to which the former is thankful for.
“I will never forget what Judy Ann did for me, that’s why she is who she is. You know at my lowest point, in one of her interviews, they said that she was the teleserye queen but she said, ‘No, Claudine and I share this title,’ I will never forget that Boy ’til the day I die.
“Our dream is to be able to do a movie together and I will be forever grateful to Judy Ann Santos…and queen supports queens.”
Barretto was with the ABS-CBN network from 1992-2009 before she transferred to GMA Network.
