Batit Espiritu, a former PBB Housemate turned actor, confessed to cheating on his ex-girlfriend for two years during the press conference for ‘Love Bites’ Season Two.
The actor is set to star in a ‘Love Bites’ episode called “Summer Camp” with Daniela Stranner.
During the press conference, Espiritu shared a valuable lesson he had learned from his experience. He said, “Yung lesson doon is, minsan, wag natin sundin yung love, yung pagmamahal. Kasi pag nagbibigay tayo ng too much love, nawawalan tayo ng focus sa sarili – at wag din pabigla-bigla.”
The actor also shared that he regretted everything he did and is grateful to be moving on. “Lahat ng yon, napagsisihan ko na, and thank God, moving on na,” he said.
Espiritu takes his first leading role seriously and gained weight for the role.
The actor revealed, “First time ko mag-leading role, sa mga past projects ko po, supporting [roles]. Medyo na-pressure po ako ng kaunti, yung challenging na part, nag-adjust talaga ako, yung weight ko, dinagdagan ko from 75 to 80 kilos.”
During the press conference, he expressed his gratitude to ‘Love Bites’ Season Two director, Raz de la Torre, for trusting him with his first lead role.
The actor also expressed appreciation for his co-star Daniela Stranner, saying “Ang dali niya rin po katrabaho, sinusuportahan niya po ako sa mga eksena namin, so nagpapasalamat po ako sa kaniya.”
