Actress Sunshine Cruz took to social media to express her dismay over a netizen who badmouthed her family following their trip to Bali, Indonesia.
On April 2, one netizen posted that they got bumped off their seats after the airline company gave their seats to a celebrity family.
Around this time, Sunshine Cruz and Ruffa Gutierrez were traveling to Bali, Indonesia, with their children.
Netizens then bashed Cruz and Gutierrez online as they claimed that the celebrities received special treatment.
In Cruz’s Facebook post on April 4, she denied the rumors and said they booked their plane tickets before their trip.
“Not us!
“Booked and paid since first week of March.
“My family and friends have tickets to Bali at nakasakay ka din naman pala girl.
“Hinayaan mo pang i-bash at guluhin kami ng mga tao sa insidente na wala kaming kaalam-alam at kasalanan. Ngayong lumaki ang issue deleted na ang post mo girl?!” said Cruz.
The netizen’s post has since been-deleted, but the damage remained.

Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines (PAL) released a statement that said their policy does not allow bumping-off passengers.
“We want to emphasize that our policy and practice do not involve bumping off passengers to make room for high-profile travelers.”
