Jodi Sta. Maria discussed fans’ and netizens’ reactions to her kissing scene with Joshua Garcia, saying everyone was surprised!
On April 20, Sta. Maria talked about her viral kissing scene with Garcia in the teaser of their upcoming series titled Unbreak My Heart.
“Nagulat ‘yung mga tao. Unexpected na gagawin nila pareho. Siyempre parang 20 years ‘yung age gap namin ni Joshua. Na-surprise talaga sila. Ibibigay niya kung ano ‘yung hinihingi sa kaniya.”
Sta. Maria revealed the stars of the series underwent a sensuality workshop before shooting some scenes of the series.
“Importante na hindi kayo lalabas dun sa napag-usapan …kasi when you do scenes like that, kailangan ‘yung trust meron kayo sa isa’t isa. Magiging block mo ‘yun when it comes to getting into the scene and character,” she said.
Directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo and Dolly Dulu, GMA Network, ABS-CBN Entertainment, and Viu collaborated on a Dreamscape Entertainment project.
Unbreak My Heart will star Kapuso and Kapamilya stars such as Garcia, Sta. Maria, Gabbi Garcia, Richard Yap, among others.
Sta. Maria and her son Thirdie are the new ambassadors of Chowking, a local fast-food chain in the country.
“What made everything more special is I’m gonna be working with Thirdy again. It’s been a while since nagkaroon kami ng commercial ni Thirdy. Grabe, siyempre ang laki na niya,” Sta. Maria shared.
