On April 4, Kapuso singer Jeremiah Tiangco admitted that he had doubts about his showbiz career.
At the media event for Dare To Be Different, which LionhearTV covered, Tiangco said he felt tired of pursuing his career.
“Siguro po hindi naman quit, pero siyempre napapagod, nagkakaroon ka ng doubts sa sarili mo, siyempre may mga bago, may mas magaling sayo, so paano mo ile-level up ‘yung sarili mo. ‘Yun lang siguro ‘yung always kalaban ko. Dahil ako ganon personally.”
He then highlighted the value of having a support system.
“So talagang ano lang ako, blessed lang talaga ako dahil ‘yung mga naka-surround sa akin, Kuya Garrett, Kuya Anthony, sila Wilmark, hindi sila nagbibigay ng negative thoughts about sa ganito, pag usapang career. Lalo na sila Kuya Garrett at Kuya Anthony.”
Tiangco won the second season of the GMA Network singing competition, The Clash, in 2019.
He then shared his realization with aspiring singers and fellow The Clash contestants.
“It takes time, sa lahat ng bagay po. Hindi minamadali ang mga bagay, at the same time, kailangan you have patience sa mga ginagawa mo, dahil ‘yun nga it takes time para makamit mo ‘yung isang bagay.”
Tiangco’s concert, Dare To Be Different, happens on April 15 at the Music Museum with guests Ken Chan, This Band, Magnus Haven, Rob Deniel, Christian Bautista, and more.
The music event also features 20 songs and performances from the former The Clash contestant.
