Internationally acclaimed Filipino actress Dolly de Leon shared her excitement over working with Kathryn Bernardo in an upcoming Star Cinema film titled A Very Good Girl.
On April 11, via an interview, de Leon admitted she was amazed by Bernardo’s performance in Hello, Love, Goodbye.
“Siyempre kinikilig ako kasi galing na galing ako kay Kathryn. Kinikilig talaga siyempre kasi napakahusay niya. At saka napakabuting tao. She’s really a very good actress and so, of course I’m so flattered. I’m so flattered and I’m really excited to work with her,” De Leon stated.
Bernardo also shared her excitement about working with de Leon.
“It is such an honor because I will be working — she agreed to work with me — with the one and only Ms. Dolly de Leon. For sure marami akong matututunan sa kaniya. I can’t wait to meet her again.”
Written by Marionne Dominique Mancol, A Very Good Girl will be directed by Petersen Vargas.
Golden Globe Award nominee de Leon is set to star in another international film titled, Grand Death Lotto.
Following her supporting role in the critically acclaimed Triangle of Sadness, she received numerous Best Supporting Actress awards and nominations. These awards and nominations included those from the National Society of Film Critics, the Golden Globe, and the BAFTA.
