On April 17, TV5 COO Dino Laurena and TV host Karla Estrada acknowledged the pressure of achieving Face2Face TV rating success.
At the media conference for the premiere of Face2Face, which LionhearTV covered, Laurena pondered how TV ratings reflect audience love for a program.
He shared, “Yes, hindi namin ipagkakaila that all programs on television no, huwag na natin sabihin kung pang-primetime ‘yan, pang-lunch time, siyempre lahat ng programa, gusto natin nagre-rate.
As for Face2Face, he also noted the effort they put into programming.
Estrada on the other hand highlighted how pressure helps the production team perform better in ensuring Face2Face’s quality.
She also cited their goal of helping the public through their program.
Face2Face aired in 2010, with the program trending due to in-person confrontations. TV5 was hosted by Amy Perez from 2010 to 2013 and by Gelli de Belen from 2012 to 2013.
Face2Face’s reboot returns on TV5 with new hosts Karla Estrada and Alex Calleja.
The public service show includes the latest set of Trio Tagapayo with Atty. Lorna Capunan, Dr. Love Jun Banaag, with returning adviser Dr. Camille Garcia.
Frank Lloyd Mamaril directs Face2Face, which airs on May 1 at 11 am via TV5 and Cignal TV.
