On March 30, Kapuso actress Carmina Villaroel hinted about Abot Kamay na Pangarap‘s extension.
At a media conference for Abot Kamay na Pangarap, which LionhearTV covered, Villaroel accidentally revealed the show’s extension while thanking the Kapuso viewers for their support.
“Ang ano lang talaga namin ay salamat, maraming, maraming salamat talaga kasi we keep on extending, kasi ‘yun nga ay dahil sa kanila, ‘yun ay dahil sa suporta nila.”
She then joked that the series would be on air until 2028.
“Nasabi ko ba? Nasabi ko na eh. Oo, siyempre dapat proud ako di ba na may extension. Kung hanggang kailan, parang hanggang 2028 ata kami. Hanggang 2028.
She then highlighted the quality storytelling of their daytime series.
“We are just very thankful, kasi una palang, wala naman kaming expectations eh.
Villaroel also talked about the relatable themes of the series that made it successful.
Makikita mo ‘yung sinceridad, makikita mo ‘yung napaka natural.
“Tsaka siguro relatable kasi ‘yung istorya namin kaya siguro na-affect ‘yung mga viewers namin kasi nga nakaka-relate sila role ko, nakaka-relate sila sa role ni–kung kanino man, kung sino man doon sa characters.”
