On March 30, Kapamilya star Belle Mariano hinted at her upcoming teleserye in 2023.
At the media event for her collaboration with the clothing brand SHEIN, which LionhearTV covered, Mariano confirmed that she has an upcoming teleserye for 2023 titled, Can’t Buy Me Love.
“Ayaw ko mag-spoil pero, we’ll be doing a serye, abangan ninyo ‘yan. That’s all I can say for now. But yeah, we are going to do a serye this year. Yeah, Can’t Buy Me Love. So abangan ninyo ‘yan, I won’t tell or go into details muna. That’s all I can say, but it’s very .exciting.
“We’ve been doing a lot of meetings with our director, di ko pwedeng sabihin din. And I’ve been doing some workshops, too. So this is my first teen serye.”
She also thanked her fans for continuously supporting her as an artist.
“Of course, I wouldn’t be here without them. Honestly, I’m so glad that I have such /amazing/ and wonderful people– to support me. Super duper supportive talaga nila.
“Even noong from pandemic days pa natin, talagang nararamdaman ko ‘yung suporta nila, even if it’s just through social media. Like grabe sila. Being able to be here and seeing some of them there. It’s really touching, and I just really love them.”
Mariano gained popularity after her stint in the digital series He’s Into Her with her fellow Kapamilya star Donny Pangilinan.
From then on, Mariano and Pangilinan starred in romantic comedy films such as Love is Color Blind and An Inconvenient Love.
As for her latest endorsement, SHEIN introduced Mariano as their brand ambassador, together with the launch of their first pop-up store in the Philippines at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
