Baron Geisler’s ‘performance extraordinaire’ as the deranged Janus in ‘The Iron Heart’ lauded by netizens, viewers

Returning to the show after months of hiatus, the talented actor captivated the viewers of the top-rating action-drama series again with his mind-blowing portrayal of his role.

Actor Baron Geisler, has been the talk of the town, on Twitter, since April 26. 

His character, Janus, which went missing for months on the show until a few episodes ago, unleashed terror and panic, not just to the lives of Apollo (Richard Gutierrez), a.k.a. Tisoy, and his loved ones, but also to the top figures of Tatsulok, especially Priam, who doesn’t want anyone to take down the snitch of the organization, before he does. Non-stop action ensued, after Priam finally discovered who Tisoy really was.

Motivated by rage and hunger for vengeance, the now-deranged and manic Janus is hellbent in making Tisoy suffer. Earlier in the series, Tisoy supposedly killed Janus, which later on revealed to be alive and kept as a lab rat.

In last night’s episode, the collision between Janus and Tisoy reached a shocking and heartbreaking point, with the former succeeding at murdering one of Tisoy’s loved ones: Aunt Delia (Anna Marin). 

In the aforementioned scene, Geisler delivered what could be his most remarkable moment in the series— at least to most viewers.

“CLAP CLAP FOR BARON GEISLER #TIHOnTheRun,” said ALTStarMagic, attaching the clip that featured the highly-acclaimed scene.

“Goosebumps ako sa scene na to. The way he laughs then ask ano tapos yung mata na nagsusumigaw na isang maniacal killer. Galing Sir Baron! Kung anung iniyak ko sa Doll House syang ginigil ko sa The Iron Heart. #BaronGeisler,” commented @DBfangirlera, who noted of Geisler’s skillfull delivery of Janus and his maniacal behavior and nuances.

Director Jojo Saguin was also all praise for Geisler’s performance, tweeting, “Grabe yung intensity ng character ni baron sa iron heart! Nararamdaman mo yung pagka demonyo nya.Apakahusay @baron_geisler,”.

Film writer and author, Noringai, has this to say, as her way of appreciating the actor’s brilliance. “Demonyo talaga yang si Baron – ay wait. Yung character lang ba? Hahaha joke Baron. Labyu!,” her tweet reads.

In one of her tweets, Moira can’t help but admire Geisler as an actor, saying, “Setting aside all his personal troubles, Baron Geisler’s acting cannot be overlooked talaga.” 

On LionhearTV’s part, the team also took the chance of letting Geisler, as well as Richard Gutierrez, with whom he shared one of his memorable scenes, know., how exceptionally well their scene was.

“The way @baron_geisler and @teamgutierrez pulled off this emotionally-charged sequence really well. The fury and anger in Geisler’s Janus, was met by the panic and fear in Gutierrez’s Apollo. A showdown of brilliance between two capable actors! @StarCreativesTV.”

In another tweet, Geisler thanked all his supporters for following his journey in the series. That sort of suggested his stint on the show finally came to an end, but based on the teasers, it seems he may have one more night of unleashing his devious deeds.
