Kapuso actors Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, collectively known as the ‘BarDa’ love team from the success of ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra,’ are set to star in their first movie together.
Barbie Forteza and David Licauco became the nation’s hottest love team when they played Klay and Fidel in ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’.
The still-untitled film will be produced by Pocket Media Productions. It will be a romantic drama directed by Cathy Camarillo, known for her work on TV ‘Halik’ and ‘Wildflower.’
“[I’m] just enjoying the journey with Barbie. And thank you sa Pocket Media Productions dahil ang ganda ng script (because the script is beautiful),” Licauco shared during an interview with ’24 Oras.’
Forteza showed what her character would be: “This will be my first time portraying a matchmaker.”
Fans have been eagerly anticipating a project that would pair the two young actors together, and this new movie looks set to deliver on that promise.
