Barbie Forteza and David Licauco once more proved to be a great tandem after scoring big wins in their Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko episodes.
The breakout love team dubbed FiLay from their Fidel and Klay characters in Maria Clara at Ibarra were the recent guest stars in Kapuso children’s fantasy program Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko titled Lady & Luke.
According to the most recent rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, Daig Kayo Ni Lola registered a rating of 8.3 percent on April 2, its highest rating among the four-part episode featuring Forteza and Licauco.
During its premiere on March 12, the FiLay episode registered a rating of 6.8 percent, beating the rival program TV Patrol Weekend, which scored 2.1 percent.
On its second episode, on March 19, Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko scored 7.2 percent ratings, 5.0 percent higher than TV Patrol Weekend’s 2.2 percent rating.
And on its third episode on March 26, Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko’s rating climbed by 0.6 percent to 7.8 percent, beating TV Patrol Weekend’s 1.8 percent rating.
Meanwhile, aside from their successive successes in Maria Clara at Ibarra and Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko, Forteza and Licauco’s chemistry will be tested again in their upcoming film, to be directed by Cathy Camarillo.
In a tweet by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Monday, April 3, wrote–the two stars will be starring in a film this year under Pocket Media Productions.
