On April 12, Kapamilya star Anji Salvacion revealed how she handles bashers.
At the media conference for Paraiso, which LionhearTV covered, Salvacion said she focuses on improving herself rather than pleasing others.
“I mean, I cannot please everyone. And, I’m not meant–I’m not born to please everyone, but all I can do is that to improve with myself, improve my skills, and what matters the most is I love what I’m doing. So yeah, it doesn’t really matter to me. They can bash me all they want.”
She then highlighted how Paraiso helped her launch a new image as a music artist.
“So this track will pave the way for a new Anji. So daring, new, jaunty, and immaculate. So kasi, I like to explore and experimenting with a different sound. And I believe that Paraiso is the perfect song to introduce the new me.”
She also noted how her music matures with her as she explores.
“I like exploring different sounds and different music, but as I’m growing din sa industry–as I’m growing, I believe that I’m slowly finding the perfect sound for me that will resonate–that will resonate with me as an artist din. So music is maturing alongside with me.”
Salvacion’s first project under Tarsier Records, Paraiso, offers a vibrant and upbeat track that boosts the listeners’ self-esteem and embraces their version of paradise.
