Online personality Bryanboy clapped back at motivational speaker Rendon Labador after their controversial online feud about rice.
Labador previously made the headlines after he advertised his Motivational Rice in his restaurant.
Netizens criticized him for selling the rice for an unreasonable price, but Labador explained that the price will serve as a motivation for people to work harder to afford the things they want.
Bryanboy dissed Labador’s rice as he flexed his Gucci Rice which is way more expensive than the motivational speaker’s rice.
Labador responded on April 14 and said that people are not understanding the meaning of his Motivational Rice.
“Gucci boy, bakit mo ikinukumpara yung motivational rice, naiintindihan mo ba ‘to?
On April 15, Bryanboy shaded Labador as he shared something new to brag about.
He talked about his Fendi pasta which cost around EUR 40,000.
“Balita ko, meron napikon sa post ko. Bumubula ang bunganga niya.
“Kakauwi ko lang galing Rome Italy from a business trip. Dedma na po tayo sa rice. Chaka ang rice. Nakakasawa. Here’s what I have for you. Fendi pasta.
The fashion socialite then quipped about someone’s restaurant that had no customers in its grand opening.
“‘Di po ba katangahan ‘yung nagbukas ng restaurant tapos nilangaw ang grand opening,” he said.
He seemed to be talking about Rendon Labador’s restaurant in Quezon City which had zero ticket sales in its grand opening.
As of this writing, Labador still had no response to Bryanboy’s latest post. Labador seemed to be getting a lot of hate in his posts but he said that getting hate is one of his marketing strategies.
“Being hated here in the Philippines is one of the fastest ways to market things.”
