The recognition aims to encourage law enforcers to be good role models in their workplaces and in the communities they serve.
Through the initiative of a private firm, Aclan Group of Companies, 15 outstanding Muntinlupa policemen, got awarded the Honest Cop Award, for their inspiring display of integrity, honesty, and dedication, as law enforcers. The awards were given last April 4, 2023, in Muntinlupa City.
“The AGC Honest Cop Award is an initiative by AGC Group of companies to give recognition to honest cops here in Muntinlupa. In coordination with the leadership of Col. Angel Garcillano of Muntinlupa City Police, we have selected deserving policemen who not only have shown their dedication and commitment to work, but more importantly, have been honest and truthful.
“Now a days, when unfortunately, we have some uniformed personnel who have issues, it is always a breath of fresh air to know that we have cops that are still honest and can be trusted by our constituents here in Muntinlupa” shared Aclan Group of Companies Chairman and CEO, John Paul Aclan.
During the awarding ceremony, Aclan expressed his hope for other policemen, not just in Muntinlupa, but across the archipelago, to follow suit.
“Sana po ipagpatuloy ng ating kapulisan ang kanilang magiting at matapang na pagharap sa kriminalidad dito sa siyudad, at sana po ay magpatuloy at dumami pa ang ating mga honest na police dito sa Muntinlupa—hind lang po sa siyudad ng Muntinlupa, pati po sa buong bansa, “he said, sharing the exceptional policemen would receive special recognition in the form of a plaque and a pin.
“Binibigyan natin sila ng simpleng parangal na kung saan meron silang plaque, at meron akong ginawang pin. Itong pin na ito is a very big symbolism, kasi being in the private sector, syempre ang mga kapulisan natin, sila ang nag-aalaga sa ating pamilya, ng aking empleyado, ng aking kompanya, kaya tayo nagnenegosyo dito sa siyudad ng Muntinlupa eh dahil ang ating mga kapulisan ay sobrang honest,” Aclan further explained.
All hailing from the City of Muntinlupa, the 15 awardees given recognition are, PMAJ John Glenn Siguan, PMAJ Peter C. Aquino, PCPT Michael F. Tilan, PSSg Rodolfo Motio Jr., PSSg Abdul Rahman Atabay, PCpl Melvin Dejan, PCpl Nino Paolo Ganaden, Pat Mark Diloy, PMAJ Eutecio Ona, PCPT Reynaldo Par, PSSg Marlon Argame, PSSg Rolly Boy Antoniega, PCpl Albert Mallete, PCpl Reynaldo Quilala and Pat Zander Capillo all assigned in the city of Muntinlupa.
