Top-rated Kapuso afternoon drama ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap’ (AKNP) proved to be a rating leader not only in the daytime arena but also on the overall rating leaderboard.
This comes after AKNP overtook ‘Mga Lihim Ni Urduja’ (MNLU) based on the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey covering March 29 to March 30, 2023.
On Wednesday, March 29, AKNP received an 11.3% rating, taking the third spot. This is just below entertainment leader FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ). MNLU, on the other hand, scored 11.1 percent, taking the #4 spot on the overall rating chart.
On the next day, March 30, the Jillian Ward-Carmina Villaroel starrer series retained its number three position with a rating of 11.0 percent. This was 0.3 percent higher than MNLU’s 10.7 percent in the number four spot.
This recent feat follows a string of AKNP’s successes.
On March 18, the Kapuso afternoon drama reached its all-time high TV ratings of 11.4 percent. On March 30, the series registered a record-breaking total combined live views of more than 342,000, the highest concurrent views for a daytime drama program.
This success also translated into the series’ extended run, as evidenced by the addition of various characters led by Ms. Dinna Bonnevie.
