Kapuso star Ysabel Ortega disclosed on March 7 her parents’ reaction to Miguel Tanfelix’s revelations about his intentions as a suitor.
At the media conference for Beautéderm’s five-year partnership with Sparkle, Ortega said her parents were happy about Tanfelix’s revelation during his interview in ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.’
She revealed, “Actually po, si Mama, sobrang natuwa po siya sa interview kasi siyempre di ba? Who wouldn’t want that for their daughter, a guy who’s patient, a guy who’s willing to wait, a guy who’s willing to respect your parents as well, so natuwa naman po ‘yung Mom ko.”
She also confirmed how happy she was about how brave Tanfelix was in telling the world his true feelings and intentions towards her; that she was grateful and appreciative of the gesture.
She noted her closeness with Tanfelix ‘leveled up’ because of the romantic declaration. Ortega confirmed, “Definitely nadagdagan, kasi doon mo malalaman kung seryoso sayo ‘yung tao eh, if they’re openly supporting you and showing how they feel about you.”
However, Ortega clarified that she and Tanfelix are focusing on their careers. She said, “Kasi agree rin naman kaming lahat, pati si Miguel din na at this time kasi, ‘yung moment sa buhay namin, talagang kailangan ‘yung career din ‘yung focus namin and hindi rin dapat mawala doon sa track niya.”
Ortega and Tanfelix are working together in the highly anticipated sci-fi-action adaptation, ‘Voltes V: Legacy.’
As for her latest endorsement, Beautéderm, led by President and CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan, celebrated its five-year partnership with Sparkle (formerly GMA Artist Center) by renewing the contracts of Kapuso stars Cassy Legaspi, Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, Rayver Cruz, and Sanya Lopez.
They also introduced celebrity endorsers such as Patricia Tumulak, Buboy Villar, Thia Thomalla, Ortega, and EA Guzman to help spread brand awareness.
