Yassi Pressman and Marco Gumabao are hopeful to get back to GMA Network via a drama series, a TV adaptation of the film Saan Nagtatago ang Pag-ibig?
On March 8, during the media conference of Kurdapya, Pressman and Gumabao shared their hopes for the Saan Nagtatago ang Pag-ibig? to get pushed through.
“It’s an honor po to be blessed with the role like that, lalung-lalo na po to play Ate Vi. Hindi ko po in-announce publicly po, kasi gusto ko po sana maging tuluy-tuloy na po talaga.
“Pero nung nakita ko po yung article po, sobra po akong kinilig. Gusto ko nga po sana siyang bisitahin. Siguro po pag matuloy na,” Pressman said.
Gumabao stated he’s already trying to reach out to Ricky Davao to ask for his blessing.
“I reached out to him. Nag-message ako sa kanya sa Instagram, but I don’t think nakita niya yung message ko, kasi hindi nga kami magka-follow sa Instagram. I talked to Jake Cuenca kasi ka-close niya [Ricky] yata si Jake, and I told him about it na gusto ko siyang kausapin or gusto ko lang makausap si Sir Ricky Davao.
“But yun nga, naudlot yung project, so hindi ko na rin na-push. Kasi, kailangan ko pa bang makipag-usap tapos hindi naman matuloy yung project? So, given a chance na matuloy yung project, I would definitely ano… take the chance to talk to him.”
Pressman and Gumabao both came from GMA Network. The former worked on various Kapuso projects from 2009 to 2015. The latter also had his guest appearances in some Kapuso programs.
