Kapamilya host-comedian Vice Ganda tossed shade on how politicians run our government and how they were voted into office even without qualifications.
During the ‘Yormeme’ segment of ‘It’s Showtime’ on March 10, Vice poked fun at the current Philippine political situation.
‘Yormeme’ is the Kapamilya noontime show’s segment where Vice Ganda plays a corrupt politician called Yormeme.
At first, he asked co-host Ogie Alcasid what course he took in college.
“Ano nga ang course mo nung college?” Vice asked.
Alcasid replied, “Ako, broadcasting.”
The Unkabogable star then quipped, “Oh diba ganyan tayo sa ating gobyerno, course mo broadcasting? Ilalagay kita sa agriculture,” eliciting laughter from other co-hosts and the audience.
Aside from Alcasid, Vice also asked Jugs Jugueta about his studies.
“Oh Jugs, san ka nag-aral?”
Jugueta also gamely answered, saying he graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University.
“Grumaduate ka ng college, mataas ang pinagaaral, isa kang ordinaryong mamamayan. Subukan mong tumakbo walang boboto sayo. Ah nag-aral ka ba? Wala ka,” he added.
Meanwhile, a clip from the episode was shared on Tiktok by Marvin Elizalde on March 11.
