Vivoree Esclito-Brent Manalo, Criza Taa-Josh Worsley, and Beaver Magtalas-Mutya Orquia have their gimmicks for “promposals” for the Star Magical Prom.
On March 21, the YouTube Channel of Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s premier talent agency, posted a series of videos featuring Star Magic artists’ gimmicks for the upcoming first-ever ‘Star Magical Prom’.
Esclito was visited by Manalo during a mall show. In an act of courage, Manalo asked Esclito to be his prom date on stage.
“Oras na para maging matapang din ako,” Manalo said.
Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Worsley asked his fellow housemate Taa to go for a helicopter ride, watching Manila from above. After the ride, the former asked the latter to be his ‘Star Magical Prom’ date.
“This is my first time going and I love your energy talaga. I want to have fun at the prom as a friend or whatever po. If it’s okay if you want to be my partner to prom po?” Worsley asked.
“Wait. Na-appreciate ko talaga ito lahat, like I really do. Sobrang happy ako na you did this and all. Pero, naka-set na sa utak ko that I’m going to prom alone. Like this is going to be my first prom kasi ever, like I want to spend it by myself, but of course, we can still like hang out there or what. I really appreciate this. Thank you, Josh,” Taa stated.
Meanwhile, Magtalas surprised Orquia with a “promposal” in Tagaytay. The latter accepted the former’s proposal.
In celebration of Star Magic’s 30th anniversary, the said Star Magical Prom event will be on March 30.
