On March 13, adult content creator Salome Salvi discussed her new project as the host of the podcast-drama anthology series focusing on sex.
At the media conference for SSSSHHH! Salvi highlighted the collaborative process in creating the podcast-anthology series.
“Very, very kasi, I think it was [a really important] thing rin, and I’m really [happy] that they were really open to collaborating with me, like–they would write something, and then it would have all the elements we want to put on screen. But also, they gave me a lot of space to put in my input and say na, ‘Oh, let’s do this, do that.’ So that ethical ‘yung representation natin ng kink na ‘to.
“And stuff like that. So, I’m [really] happy [that] they gave me a lot of creative freedom for that even though ‘yung main writers po talaga ng series na ‘to ay si sir En Villasis and si Direk Roman. Pero, [like] I had a little bit of a hand in editing siguro the story and making sure that they resonate with me and hopefully with the audience po.”
Director Roman Perez Jr provided behind-the-scenes detail on how Salvi helped conceptualize each episode.
Perez explained each episode would have a medium-length movie format.
At inaabangan nila at gusto nila iba’t ibang episodes, every week.
He then described the series as an experimental project with a feminist-centric theme in each episode.
Siyempre parang podcast type. Siyempre with the Vivamax Sexpert Salome Salvi.
Mas ano ‘to eh, mas feminista ‘yung kwento.
Perez cited their plans of including viewer submissions for their future seasons of SSSSHHH!
“And most likely, sa mga susunod na episodes namin, magca-call for entries talaga kami, magca-call for entries talaga kami ng mga tunay na problema ng young couples, young adults, ng mag-asawa, ng 70 years old. Basta may problema, kaya naming tulungan at gusto nilang marining ‘yung mga kwento nila, ikukwento namin ni Salome.”
Salvi hosts the four-part Vivamax series, SSSSHHH! which stars Amanda Avecilla, Rash Flores, Vince Rillon, Alexa Ocampo, Jeffrey Hidalgo, Arron Villaflor, Chesca Paredes, Aerol Carmelo, Micaella Raz, Quinn Carillo, VR Relosa, and Yen Durano.
SSSSHHH! created by Roman Perez Jr and En Villasis, streams on Vivamax starting March 26.
