A successful four-leg event was completed in major cities throughout the Philippines with the game.

Robinson’s Appliances’ highly anticipated ‘Race to A Minute’ 2023, finally came to a close, yesterday, March 25, but not without a bang. Held at the first upscale mall in San Pedro City, Laguna, the Galleria South mall, the event saw an unprecedented surge of adrenaline, excitement, and of course, prizes!

After holding successful races at Robinson’s Valencia in Bukidnon (Mindanao), last March 5, Robinson’s Galleria Cebu (Visayas) last March 11, and Robinson’s Tuguegarao (Luzon), last March 18, four teams consisting of two representatives per team from the Greater Manila Area (GMA), went head-to-head among each other and tried to become the lucky winners of appliances and gadgets worth PhP220,000 from Robinson’s Appliances.

Now on its fourth installment, since 2017, ‘Race to A Minute’ has been Robinson’s Appliances’ way of rewarding its loyal customers through the years. The last leg in Galleria South was meant to cap the event with a never-before-seen level of fun and excitement, and it did.

According to Donna May San Luis, Marketing Services Manager at Robinson’s Appliances, “This annual Robinson’s Appliances event marks our gratitude to our customers, who have been supporting us throughout the year.”

Showbiz personalities, Elisse Joson and Turs Daza, hosted the leg. Previously, they hosted the Cebu, Bukidnon, and Tuguegarao legs. Galleria South was no different, as the two participated in the challenge themselves, as contestants, across locations within the mall.

‘Race to A Minute’ is composed of six pit stops, wherein players are expected to finish assigned tasks within 60 seconds. Each pit stop tests players’ mental and physical capabilities. Guided by a race card, each team will race toward the next pitstop, where they will get a clue card to solve each task. The sooner they reach the next pit stop, the higher their chance of receiving the highest-valued prize. A total of PhP2 million worth of appliances and gadgets were given away during the four legs of Race to A Minute.

Winning PhP220k worth of gadgets and appliances from Robinson’s Appliances, the Yellow Team won the top prize. The other three teams, however, did not feel fewer winners, as each took home prizes worth at least PhP86,000. The green team placed fourth, the blue team was third, and the red team was almost the grand winner in second place.

Aside from the appliances and gadgets, all participants from all legs of the race received PhP2,000 worth of GoRewards points.

The 2023 ‘Race to a Minute’ is co-presented by (Gold Sponsors) Kolin, Sharp, Lex Service, Inc., TCL, GCash, Samsung, and Daikin, as well as (Silver Sponsors) Fujidenzo, Devant, Toshiba, American Home, Johnson Controls, Midea, Whirlpool, Hitachi, Hisense, Skyworth, Panasonic, Electrolux, and Maytag.
