Netizens speculate the posts by several Kapamilya personalities alluded to the 25-year-old actress, who made headlines anew following her most recent interview.
Kapamilya fans and netizens went abuzz once more, on March 6, after Kapuso star Bea Alonzo released a new vlog entry.
The vlog featured the former Kapamilya leading lady Liza Soberano, answering fiery questions about her career. She has been in hot water following her earlier statements, which claimed that being in a love team hindered her from exploring other opportunities and thus further honing her talent and skills as an actress.
Like her vlog, which detailed how her creative freedom got stifled under ABS-CBN, her interview with Alonzo, also from ABS-CBN, garnered mostly unfavorable responses, especially from her former Kapamilya bosses.
Star Cinema’s Ad Prom Head and Head of Rise Artists Mico del Rosario posted something on Instagram, which netizens quickly took as his response to Soberano’s latest revelations.
He did not name Soberano in his post.
“Sometimes people pretend you’re a bad person, so they don’t feel guilty about the things they did to you,” reads del Rosario’s IG story, which @OfficialKPEx, reposted on its Twitter account.

Former ABS-CBN executive Ethel M. Espiritu [similarly] did not directly address Soberano, but her posts were [obviously] intended for the latter.
“I think she should review and reassess before she opens her mouth, again. Personal career growth media release gone wrong. Andun yung magandang intention niya where we all agree-right comm plan lang and use of right words. Let’s not be careless lest we be misunderstood,” her tweet reads, probably referring to Soberano’s streak of statements which many netizens described as ill-worded and carelessly-phrased.

In her follow-up tweet, Espiritu mentioned Alonzo, which [pretty much] gave away whom she was actually referring to.
“Tsaka ako ito ha. If she really wanted to clear things out–it should not be Bea Alonzo to interview her. It’s not good for both of them–for obvious reason/s we all know,” she stressed.
Several netizens agreed with Espiritu, with many suggesting that Soberano’s move [might have been] deliberately made to elicit strong responses.
“Baka ito talaga yung true colors niya. Totoo siguro yung issue sa kanya before about her attitude,” assumed @KAPfighter.
“Sabi nya kinahon sya, parang sya ata ang nag-kahon kay Quen,” tweeted Sophia.
Soberano notably aired her frustration over seemingly getting boxed in a love team while also admitting she did not want to part ways with long-time onscreen and offscreen partner Enrique Gil.
In Alonzo’s vlog, Soberano admitted that finding out the news about the management’s attempt to partner Gil with Kathryn Bernardo made her feel scared, noting that “Quen is my comfort zone.”

The said Bea Alonzo vlog entry got recorded on February 21, or five days before Soberano’s controversial rebranding announcement.
That said, many netizens argue that it does not make any difference in the actress’s seemingly ungrateful move against her former colleagues and bosses in ABS-CBN.
