After the successful finale of Maria Clara at Ibarra, how did its replacement, Mga Lihim ni Urduja, fare in TV ratings?
According to the preliminary overnight data from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, tweeted by columnist Nora Calderon on February 28, GMA Network’s latest action-fantasy series Mga Lihim ni Urduja (MNLU) emerged as the winner against its rival FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ).
Based on the rating report for Monday, February 27, MNLU scored a 9.6 percent single-channel (GMA) rating vs. FPJBQ‘s 5.3 percent in TV5 and another 5.3 percent in A2Z Channel 11.

However, using the combined channel rating result, the Kapamilya action-drama series spoiled MNLU’s pilot as it scored 12.9 percent vs. 11.7 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, over at the Twitterverse, MNLU was warmly welcomed by the netizens as it topped Twitter trends in the Philippines via its pilot episode hashtag, #MgaLihimNiUrduja.
MNLU’s pilot episode hashtag was able to accumulate nearly 32,000 tweets to top Twitter Philippines trends on Monday night.
Several netizens, meanwhile, expressed delight at the visually appealing Kapuso action-fantasy series.
