Save the best for last.
That’s what happened to the pilot week of GMA Network’s latest action-fantasy series, Mga Lihim ni Urduja (MLNU).
MNLU almost totally lost during its pilot week, until the last day, when it emerged victorious against rival FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ) in the rating game.
According to the rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey on Friday, March 3, MNLU scored a rating of 11.6 percent, 0.1 percent higher than FPJBQ‘s 11.5 percent, and taking the number 2 overall spot and the number 1 entertainment program in the country.
FPJBQ almost swept the whole week when it overpowered MNLU, scoring 12.9 percent vs. 11.7 percent on Monday, 12.1 percent vs. 12.0 percent on Tuesday, 13.3 percent vs. 11.8 percent on Wednesday, and 12.0 percent vs. 11.5 percent on Thursday.
Can MNLU maintain its leadership, or will FPJBQ snatch back its throne?
Meanwhile, unlike MNLU, Abot Kamay Na Pangarap (AKNP) has enjoyed a week-long win in the rating game.
From Monday, February 27 to Friday, March 3, AKNP stayed on top of the daytime programming rating leaderboard.
The Jillian Ward and Carmina Villaroel-starrer afternoon series scored a 9.6 percent rating on Monday, 0.2 percent higher than the previous leader, Family Feud, which scored 9.4 percent.
On Tuesday, February 28, AKNP registered a rating of 9.6 again and picked up 0.6 percent to 10.2 percent on Wednesday, March 1. While on Thursday, the Kapuso afternoon drama dropped by 0.2 percent to 10.0 percent.
On Friday, March 3, AKNP dropped further by 0.1 percent to 9.9 percent but remained on top of daytime programming.
