On March 18, Unkabogable comedian Vice Ganda shared a birthday message to the newest It’s Showtime talent, Cianne Dominguez.
In his birthday message, Vice initially wished for Cianne to continuously hone her talent and not rely on her looks while progressing in her showbiz career.
He then stuffed in a manager-talent relationship joke, saying:
“Kasi as a manager, ayokong dumating ang araw na mag-uusap na lang tayo sa social media. At ayokong dumating ang araw na mararamdaman kong hindi ka pala happy.”
He immediately back-peddled, saying ‘charot,’ and clarifying that he’s not the manager of Dominguez.
‘Hoy, hindi ako ang manager ni Cianne, charot lang.’
When Jugs Jugueta asked if he would vlog about it, alluding to the issue between Liza Soberano and Ogie Diaz, Vice answered, “Uy, no comment ako diyan ha. Labas ninyo ako sa mga ganyan ha. Mahal ko sila pareho.”
Ogie Diaz was Vice Ganda’s former manager.
The issue between Ogie Diaz and Hope Elizabeth ‘Liza’ Soberano first surfaced after the latter made a vlog seemingly airing her grievances about her former network and management.
The issue then branched out with many celebrities speaking out, including Diaz himself.
However, during part two of her interview in ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Soberano apologized to the talent manager and showbiz reporter. Diaz also released a statement voicing his apology to his former talent.
