Viva singer Katrina Velarde proudly shared her recent nondouble eyelid retouching enhancement on her Facebook post on Wednesday, March 15.
She expressed her satisfaction and pride in the procedure.
Some celebrities keep their facial enhancements a secret, but Velarde is different, as she’s “unbothered” by what people will say.
In 2018, the singer first shared her non-surgical noselift through her YouTube channel. This was followed by her getting eyelid surgery in 2020, which was again enhanced this year.
Velarde was part of A.K.A. Jam, a six-member Filipino female vocal group consisting of Alyssa Quijano, Auriette Divina, Monique Lualhati, Jhelsea Flores, and Ashley Campbell.
During Season 1 of The X Factor Philippines, they were first rejected as solo artists in the boot camp stage. They were later grouped and became mentored by Gary Valenciano. Unfortunately, they were eliminated from the competition in Week 3, placing 10th overall after losing the sing-off to Daddy’s Home, another contender in their category.
Velarde’s husband, musician Mike Shapiro, passed away in 2021 at 57.
However, she recently introduced her new partner.
Velarde recently shared delightful news about her love life on social media by posting pictures with her new boyfriend.
“Test flight was successful. Thanks my Captain Pilot,” she said
In another post, she utilized aviation jargon again by stating that he arrived unexpectedly while she was unprepared.
“You took off so fast and nicely LANDED in my heart and I was NOT prepared for your ARRIVAL. But here you are with me right now,” she continued.
“Maraming nawala, pero nung dumating ka mas kinumpleto mo ang lahat. Salamat sayong pagmamahal. Nakangiti na ulit ang aking puso, walang pag aalinlangan at punong puno ng galak, at handang ipakilala ka sa lahat… I THANK GOD THAT HE ALLOWS ME TO FALL INLOVE AGAIN.
“It’s not afam is life, it’s your love that is life,” she added.
