Kapamilya actress Julia Montes got several netizens curious about her recent cryptic Instagram post.
In a screenshot of her Instagram story on Thursday, March 9, Julia posted a photo of an old structure with the text, “I don’t want a perfect life. I want a happy life.”
The photo quickly elicited several theories from netizens, with many associating the post with the private status of her relationship with Coco Martin.
One netizen commented on Fashion Pulis’ post, saying, “I guess Coco prioritizes his work more & making sure his immediate family are financially settled before actually focusing on his own family. I remember Julia’s parents are not together. Her father is a foreigner. So maybe she’s yearning for a complete family of her own.”
Another one even stretches to the notion that the two are already separated.
“Hmmmm Hiwalay na sila.”
One netizen however defended Montes, saying people should stop putting malice in the post because, for all we know, it’s just a simple quote.
“Grabe. Nag post lang, may drama na kaagad kayong naisip? Di ba pwedeng Like lang nya yung quote? Di ba pwedeng walang connect si Coco dyan? Di ba kayo nag eemote sa SM nyo kahit wala naman meaning? Kayo lang ba may karapatan? Ewan ko sa inyo.”
Meanwhile, after her well-received TV comeback in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano last year, Montes is currently busy doing her comeback movie, Topakk, directed by Richard Somes.
In an exclusive interview with Push in December 2022, the Kapamilya actress shared that the film inspired her to be more active again in showbiz.
She shared, “Sa ginagawa ko ngayon, mas ma-action. Siguro ang ma-se-share ko lang sa buong pag-fi-film ko ng movie, na-inspire ako to work ulit. ‘Yun ‘yung parang naging dating sa akin while doing that film. Mas makikita pa nila ako this 2023.”
Montes also added that she would love to have a chance to work with the “Star for All Seasons”, Vilma Santos.
Montes confirmed, “Siguro si Ms. Vilma Santos kung all time. Kasi sa lahat ng napanuod kong films niya, ang dami niyang nagawa, ang dami niyang naikot na characters. Parang alam ko, personally and with work, ang dami kong matututunan sa kanya. And every time na nakikita ko siya, ‘yung presence niya mararamdaman mo na you will never get intimidated sa kanya kasi ganun siya kabait.”
