Filipino film and television director, Joel Lamangan praised Coco Martin for directing ‘FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’.
During an interview with DZRH on March 1, Lamangan said that Martin knows what he is doing. Lamangan expressed, “Mahusay siya! Mahusay siyang direktor, alam niyang ginagawa niya.
Natuwa ako sa kanya,” he added.
When asked who among Coco Martin and Darryl Yap is the better director, Lamangan said that it was Martin. The director explained, “Mas mahusay si Coco. Mas magaling ang kanyang ginagawa. Mas okay ang kanyang camera movements. Mas sensitive siya sa mga nangyayari. Mahusay ang kanyang camera placement.”
Director Lamangan currently stars in FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’. He then said that he missed acting.
He also said that actors have less stress than directors. The actor’s main job is to come to the set prepared; have himself prepped by a make-up artist and costume design people, and wait for the director’s instructions.
FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’s pilot week racked up over 44 million total digital views on Kapamilya Online Live and iWantTFC.
