On March 16, Home Credit Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Shiela Paul highlighted their anti-fraud and anti-scam programs for their customers.
At the media event for Home Credit Philippine’s Road to 10, Paul cited their financing company’s efforts to combat fraud and scams.
According to Home Credit Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Shiela Paul, they are aware of how scams have grown in recent years. Therefore, they have a strong anti-fraud program to identify it within their own customer base, as well as a massive information campaign so the customers will receive push notifications, emails, and, of course, the [wide] reach of social media. This is to also educate their customers on how to avoid scams and fraud.
Home Credit Philippines Director and Treasurer Zdenek Hankovsky also emphasized their focus on creating features for theft and stolen items.
Hankovsky said, ” The main focus here is to make sure that potential theft is real …so we really need to make sure that we can have proper claims and processes. So we are working on it, but it’s not something we have now.”
