Dennis Trillo and Bea Alonzo will reunite in a Kapuso project in the upcoming drama series Love Before Sunrise.
The two will work together again, 20 years after their first team-up.
In a report by GMA News on March 15, Trillo and Alonzo had their script reading for the series along with other Kapuso stars.
Alonzo is excited to work on the project and how the story will unfold.
“Siyempre habang binabasa ko ‘yung script, nai-imagine ko siya, nai-imagine ko lahat ng cast. Pero habang sinasabi na nila, na binibigkas na nila ‘yung mga linya, parang mas nagtatagpitagpi ‘yung puzzles in my head on how this is going to come out so mas na-excite ako,” she said.
Trillo added, “Very helpful para ma-prepare kami talaga sa first taping day namin.”
Alonzo and Trillo first worked together in the 2002 youth-oriented show, K2BU, aired on ABS-CBN.
Trillo is thrilled to work with Alonzo again now that they have both achieved so much with their career over the last few years.
“Sobrang laking change talaga at sobrang happy ako sa lahat ng success niya ngayon kasi noong first time kami magkatrabaho, nagsisimula pa lang kami pareho noon sa mga careers namin. Perfect timing na makagawa kami ng show dahil alam na namin ‘yung proseso sa paggawa ng TV saka movies. Feeling ko sobrang equipped na kami,” he said.
Love Before Sunrise tells the story of Atom and Tala and how their relationship evolved from strangers when they first met, to become friends, to lovers, and eventually ex-lovers as they try to pursue their respective dreams.
They will star alongside Andrea Torres, Vaness Del Moral, Sef Cadayona, Rodjun Cruz, Matet De Leon, Nadia Montenegro, Vince Maristela, Cheska Fausto, and Ricky Davao.
The series is the second series produced from the historic collaboration of GMA Network and the leading pan-regional over-the-top (OTT) video streaming service, Viu.
