On March 28, actor Coco Martin reacted to fitness influencer Rendon Labador’s accusations that his restaurant opening flopped because of Martin’s fans.
At the premiere night of ‘Apag,’ which LionhearTV covered, Martin addressed Labador’s latest statement by reiterating his hopes that the people would avoid defaming others.
Motivational speaker Labador accused Martin of causing his restaurant’s grand opening’s zero ticket sales.
In his post he said, “WALANG BUMIBILI NG TICKET NAMIN SA GRAND OPENING BUKAS.. Bakit kaya? Fans ba lahat kayo ni Coco kaya ayaw ninyo bumili? Wala sanang personalan.”
Earlier, Labador also criticized Martin and FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, alleging that traffic had been impacted by the filming of the Kapamilya action drama.
Martin’s upcoming project is the Brillante Mendoza film, ‘Apag’.
The film also features Shaina Magdayao, Gladys Reyes, Jaclyn Jose, Julio Diaz, Carlos Canlas, Lito Lapid, Mark Lapid, Gina Pareño, and many more.
‘Apag’, directed by Brillante Mendoza, will be released in theaters on April 8 as part of the Metro Manila Summer Film Festival.
