On March 28, actor Coco Martin reacted to how his series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo helped the ratings of A2Z Channel 11 and TV5.
At the premiere night of Apag, which LionhearTV covered, Martin highlighted the benefit of having healthy competition in TV Networks and for the industry to work together.
During the pilot week of Batang Quiapo, the Kapamilya action-drama pulled off a big win in TV ratings with 12.3 percent in February.
Recently, the Batang Quiapo maintained its ratings win with a 12.2 rating on March 13.
Martin also expressed his hopes that their series would achieve the same success as its predecessor FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Ganon ‘yung nangyayari.”
As for his upcoming project, Martin stars in the Brillante Mendoza movie, Apag.
The film also features Shaina Magdayao, Gladys Reyes, Jaclyn Jose, Julio Diaz, Carlos Canlas, Lito Lapid, Mark Lapid, Gina Pareño, and many more.
Under the direction of Brillante Mendoza, Apag opens in cinemas on April 8 during the Metro Manila Summer Film Festival.
