Carmina Villaroel shared her thoughts about her daughter Cassy Legaspi’s close friend, Darren Espanto.
In an interview with TV Patrol’s MJ Felipe on March 18, Villaroel said that she is comfortable with her daughter’s friendship with Espanto.
“I’m just so happy that they’re really good friends. I’m very comfortable na they’re together, together physically.
“Parang nakakampante ako na ‘pag magkasama sila sa event, hindi ako na te-tense basta sabihin niyang ‘I’ll be with Z,'” she said.
When asked about her thoughts on the possibility of Legaspi and Espanto being in a relationship, Villaroel diverted her answer and focused on the friendship of the two.
“Basta sa ngayon that they’re very good friends, happy ako for them. May blessing iyon,” she said.
Legaspi and Espanto are being linked to each other for a while now.
Espanto was even teased by Vice Ganda in It’s Showtime for talking to someone on his phone right before the show aired its live episode.
The singer then admitted that he was talking to Legaspi.
Legaspi watched the episode and said that she had a good laugh from it.
“I find it funny. Well, sanay namana ko with Ate Vice so I find it funny,” she said.
Meanwhile, in February 2023, Legaspi and Espanto fulfilled their bucket list trip of traveling to Japan together. They even posted a photo of them together at Disneyland in Tokyo, Japan.
