The talented young Kapamilya actor is currently playing Cronus in the top-rating action drama series, The Iron Heart.
“May asawa at anak na ako,” shared Rise Artists star, Anthony Jennings, when he got to ask if he was still single, during a set visit to The Iron Heart’s shooting locations in Cebu, on February 6 and 7.
He was, however, quick to say, “…joke lang. Wala, wala…”
He then shared that he was planning to stay at home on Valentine’s Day.
“Wala namang plano. Bahay lang ako, kasama ang mama ko, since wala na ang daddy ko,” he said.
With regard to the details of his personal life, Jennings has been pretty much successful in keeping his privacy in tact, despite being one of ABS-CBN’s fastest rising young stars. The star won the hearts of many, including critics, through his debut film, Love At First Stream, a fan favorite among Metro Manila Film Festival 2021 entries.
Late last year, he took on another major role via the iWantTFC and Star Cinema-produced Web series Tara G, where he played the charismatic jack-of-all-trades guy, Rocky. It was his second pairing with fellow Rise artist Daniella Stranner.
Jennings has appeared in various Kapamilya projects before but in a limited capacity.
With The Iron Heart, he takes on a much more important role. Also, this time, he is on primetime. He was the young Sam Milby in Star Creatives Television series, A Family Affair, starring by Ivana Alawi.
In The Iron Heart, the young actor plays the role of Cronus, a young tech-savvy, who engages in web hacking, internet trolling, and other similar cyber crimes.
“Yung sa Tara G, medyo mas soft si Rocky compared sa character ko ngayon, kasi ‘yung character ko ngayon talagang matigas at madami nang napagdaanan sa buhay,” he shared, citing the differences between his characters in Tara G and The Iron Heart.
Can he relate to his character, Cronus? The actor said there are just parts, particularly the happy and decent ones–he can identify with.
