On March 23, artist Angel Guardian admitted to being betrayed twice by her friends.
At the media conference for CBN Asia’s much-anticipated Holy Week special, ‘Tanikala’, which LionhearTV covered, Guardian detailed her experience of getting betrayed by her friends when she was 20 years old.
Guardian shared, “Na-experience ko na ‘yun talaga, like intense, twice. Mahaba pero ayaw ko ng ikwento, pero natulungan din ako noon mag-mature in a way. “
She also revealed, “So ako madali akong maniwala. Sobrang naive ko, gusto ko lang talaga tumulong, to the point na talagang aampunin ko ‘yung tao, patitirahin ko sa amin, ganon, parang naging nanay, in a way. Tapos ending, siniraan ako and all. No thank you’s, no lahat.”
As a result of her experience, she became a more mature individual.
Guardian said she was hurt when it happened, but she learned from it. As a result of experiencing betrayal, she now knows what to do when similar things happen in the future.
She said, “So ngayon hindi na ako ganon kauto-uto. Kung hindi nangyari sa akin ‘yun, hindi ako magma-mature. Hindi ko malalaman na, ‘Ah, may limit pala dapat, hindi pala dapat na ibibigay mo lahat.’ Na may mga tao talaga na hindi ganon, iba-iba tayo ng puso eh. ‘Yung iba mali talaga intention sayo, you have to understand that, you have to see that.”
She also cited her realizations about letting go of a relationship.
She narrated, “So after that, natuto ako na kapag may taong darating sa buhay ko, pinagpe-pray ko na, lagi kong sinasabi na Lord, if this person is for me, or if this person is not for me, then alisin mo na agad.
As for her upcoming Holy Week special, CBN Asia presents ‘Tanikala’ 2023 with two offerings: ‘Senior Moment’ and ‘Kampihan’.
‘Senior Moment‘ stars Carla Martinez and Mari Kaimo, with Hutch Perales and Arcy Morfe.
Guardian stars in ‘Kampihan’ with Jan Marini, Gerard Pizzaras, Neo Rivera, Carlos Canlas, CJ de Guzman, and Ellene Cubelo.
Icko Gonzalez directed ‘Kampihan,’ while John Valdes Tan directed ‘Senior Moment’.
Senior Moment airs on Maundy Thursday, April 6, while Kampihan airs on Good Friday, April 7, at 5:00 PM on GMA Network.
