The ABS-CBN’s action-suspense teleserye The Iron Heart (TIH) recorded new all-time high TV ratings.
On Wednesday, February 22, TIH got its highest rating after scoring 8.0 percent, 0.9 percent higher than its previous all-time high of 7.1 percent recorded on February 15.
Meanwhile, aside from reaching its new all-time high TV ratings, the Richard Gutierrez-led teleserye also scored its new, all-time high concurrent views on the same day.
TIH recorded 267,376 live concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live during the episode, which featured the successful jailbreak for Bungo (Mitoy Yonting) brought about by the alliance of Apollo (Richard Gutierrez) and Eros’ (Jake Cuenca).
TIH‘s climb on the rating board got boosted by its pre-programming, FPJ’s Batang Quipo (FPJBQ). Since the premiere of the Kapamilya action-drama teleserye, TIH’s ratings have seen a big improvement from their previous average of 5 to 6 percent.
However, aside from FPJBQ‘s help, the series’ success can also be attributed to word of mouth from viewers, who highly praised the series for commendable fight scenes and stellar performance from the cast members.
