Kapuso screenwriter Suzette Doctolero aired her frustration over alleged “fake” TV ratings.
ABS-CBN’s action-drama teleserye FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ (FPJBQ) is in the lead against GMA Network’s portal fantasy teledrama ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ (MCAI).
In her Facebook post on Tuesday, February 14, she lamented an unfair TV ratings report from unnamed entities.
The Kapuso writer concluded her post by chiding the dirty competition.
TV5 reported in a tweet on Tuesday, February 14, that FPJBQ’s rating of 11.7 percent beat MCAI’s 10.9 percent rating during its linear airing at 8 p.m. MCAI has a delayed telecast on GTV at 9:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, in another Facebook post, Doctolero acknowledged the “neck-and-neck” rating results between FPJBQ and MCAI. She, however, argued that MCAI still won in the total combined TV ratings of its 8 p.m. airing on GMA Network and 9:30 p.m. airing on GTV.
Fight!”
FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, on the other hand, only airs at 8 p.m. on A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Channel, and CineMo.
