Sunshine Dizon is looking forward to more opportunities now that she’s back as a Kapuso star. She’s excited about her career’s new chapter.
On February 13, on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Abunda asked Dizon why she left the Kapuso Network.
“Bakit ka umalis at bakit ka bumalik?” Abunda asked.
“I think it’s more of I felt like I needed to grow, I needed the experience, and you have to remember, Tito Boy, I’ve dedicated half, actually, more than half of my life to my home network and this was the very very first time that I would be allowed to work outside,” Dizon answered.
She clarified that she is currently a freelancer and has the freedom to work on any project.
“Because actually, I don’t have a contract with them, I’m a freelancer, I’m free to work with anyone I want to. Actually, Tito Boy, I’m turning forty this year, and I actually like the feeling of that kind of freedom to actually work for anyone that would like to work with me.”
Dizon looks forward to more opportunities as she returns as a Kapuso star.
“Now that I’m back here, I honestly don’t know what this new chapter will bring me.”
In April 2021, she worked on a Kapamilya project via Marry Me, Marry You. A year after leaving her home network, Dizon will be part of GMA’s upcoming series titled Mga Lihim ni Urduja.
