Eat Bulaga‘s “Stomach” issue reached its rival noontime show It’s Showtime.
On February 20, on It’s Showtime’s Girl on Fire segment, Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro were interviewing a contestant when the former suddenly mentioned Eat Bulaga’s “Stomach” issue.
“Echosera! Pinanonood mo Pinoy Henyo eh! Nakita kita Pinoy Henyo pinanonood mo eh tapos talagang binabagalan mo pa eh, talagang tinitignan mo kung sinabi yung stomach… stomach.
“Binulong ba yung stomach?” said the comedian.
To recall, the “Stomach” issue occurred during Valentine’s episode of Eat Bulaga.
A couple named Lyka and Ryan competed in the Pinoy Henyo segment.
Lyka was spotted mouthing the word “stomach” repeatedly. Ultimately, Ryan lipread her correctly and guessed “stomach” and they won the segment.
The couple was then accused of cheating.
In Eat Bulaga’s episode on February 17, the host Joey de Leon then threw shade at the couple as he talked about the importance of being honest in a game.
“Simulan na natin ang pautakan. Pero unahin na natin ang warning na ‘to.
“Sa isang laro, ano ang ginagawa mo para mawala yung saya o yung fun?
“Kaya inuulit natin, totoo ‘yan, kahit anong laro pa ‘yan, kapag nandaya kayo, wala ng fun.
“Totoo nga, yung fun-daraya, may fun. Pero hindi dapat, no cheating, diretso tingin.”
