The Kapamilya action-drama series maintains its impressive viewership both on TV and online.
The Iron Heart is extended on air. Due to the warm support from its viewers, on free television and streaming. Lead star, Richard Gutierrez, himself, broke the news, during our set visit in Cebu, on February 7.
“I’m very happy and very honored to be given this project. Napaka-espesyal nito para sa akin kasi ito ang unang action series na pinagbibidahan ko sa ABS-CBN.I can say na everybody is working hard. We have a great team. Napakahusay ng mga artistang mga kasama ko, mga direktor, mga writers, and yung pagsasama namin dito is more collaborative,” he told us with pride.
The series first went on air on November 14, 2022, and has since been getting high TV ratings and concurrent viewership, which makes the extension it received–is not surprising at all.
“Yes, masaya po naming I-aannounce sa lahat na extended po ang The Iron Heart. So, I want to congratulate the entire team,” he said, confirming the series is indeed getting an extension.
“Sa lahat ng mga sumusbaybay at sumusuporta sa Iron Heart, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo at sana patuloy ang pag-enjoy ninyo sa show,” he added, sending his regards and appreciation to the fans of the show.
Asked about how far the level of action scenes in the series can still go, the heartthrob star noted the show’s extended time on the air.
“Gaya ng sinabi namin kanina, extended ang Iron Heart and we’re very happy. Ibig sabihin lang non, marami pang action na mapapanood ang ating audience. Marami pa silang aabangan and we will do our best to keep elevating the action,” he said, teasing the audience.
Will the extension it receives be the last? Gutierrez could only tease the audience and ask them to stay tuned. It can be recalled FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, the series he last participated in before The Iron Heart, lasted for 7 years on air, due to multiple extensions.
The Iron Heart airs on A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Channel. It streams on Kapamilya Online Live and on iWantTFC on Mondays through Fridays, 8:45 PM.
