‘Oras de Peligro’ and ‘Martyr or Murderer’ will premiere on March 1 in cinemas nationwide.
The two films will tackle the history of former Sen. Ninoy Aquino, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., and former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
‘Oras de Peligro’ tells the story of the last few days of the EDSA People Power Revolution in 1986 through the lens of an ordinary Filipino family.
It is written by Eric Ramos and Bonifacio Ilagan and produced by Bagong Siklab Productions.
Director Joel Lamangan clarified that the film does not aim to besmirch the current administration or attack the previous administration.
On February 12, Lamangan claimed that ‘Martyr or Murderer’ was trying to compete against their upcoming film ‘Oras de Peligro’.
He declared, “Eh sila ang gustong tumapat. Mayroon Martyr or Murderer ‘yun ang tumatapat. At takot sila.”
Following ‘Maid in Malacañang’, ‘Martyr or Murderer’ is the second installment of director Yap’s trilogy.
