Ogie Diaz seemed to have made an indirect hit to ‘Wowowin’ host Willie Revillame after the latter asked netizens to show empathy following ALLTV’s temporary suspension of its programs.
Accordingly, ALLTV will suspend its flagship shows headed by Willie Revillame’s Wowowin; Toni Gonzaga’s Toni; and Mariel Rodriguez, Ruffa Guttierez, and Ciara Sotto’s M.O.M or Mhies On a Misson.
In Revillame’s statement on February 5, he slammed critics who rejoiced over rumors that ALLTV’s rumored cancellation of its programs due to poor ratings.
“E parang natutuwa pa kayo na mawawala yung mga programa na nagbibigay saya at tulong.
“Sana hindi ganoon. Ako naman, willing tumulong dahil sa sobrang blessed namin. You have to understand, nagsisimula pa lang po ang ALLTV. Nagsisimula pa lang kami, sanggol pa lang ito. Talagang wala pang commercial na papasok dito kasi wala pa kaming reach. Wala pa kaming signal. Sinisimulan pa lang, eh.
“Ipagdasal n’yo kami. Ipagdasal n’yo kami na maging successful ito para maraming mga istasyon na maraming magawa. Marami kayong marinig na kabutihan. Set aside n’yo yung pulitika,” he said.
In Ogie Diaz’s tweet on February 5, the talent manager seemed to be answering Revillame’s call for sympathy.
Diaz said that a person should not ask for sympathy when he/she did not manage to give one when others needed it.

“Wag umiyak. Kung nung araw na kailangan ang luha ng pagdamay mo ay hindi rin naman naramdaman. Bagkus nakitawa ka pa. Kaya wag mamalimos ng simpatya. Kaya mo yan. Wala kang di kinaya,” said Diaz.
He then asked for help for people in Congress to prevent the suspension of ALLTV programs.

All Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) has yet to issue an official statement regarding the temporary or permanent break of ALLTV’s programs.
