Jose Marie Borja Viceral, popularly referred to as Vice Ganda, is a Filipino comedian and talk show host. Ana Karylle Padilla Tatlonghari, known in the movie industry simply as Karylle is a Filipino singer, actress, TV host, and musical theatre performer.
Recently, Karylle and Vice Ganda have been the subject of significant online discussion, with many claiming Vice Ganda repeatedly disrespected her.
@eiaevia, who is one of Karylle’s fans, tweeted a clip, where the TV host-actress was allegedly confronted verbally, in a disrespectful manner, by Vice Ganda. As shown in the clip, the two hosts banter about the karaoke track that was supposed to be sung by returning host, Vhong Navarro. “Ate Karylle,” she tweeted, attaching a “teary-eyed” emoji.

A tweet like this inevitably attracts the attention of netizens, who mostly express their comfort for Karylle, while others criticize Vice for allegedly exploiting her generosity.
