Four days before its finale episode, the Kapuso portal fantasy series ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ is back on top of the rating leaderboard’s entertainment category.
According to the overnight rating report from Nielsen NUTAM People Survey, which was tweeted by Kapuso writer Suzette Doctolero on Tuesday, February 21, MCAI scored a rating of 12.3 percent, 0.3 percent lower than FPJBQ’s 12.0 percent.

This is the first time since Tuesday, February 14, that the Kapuso series has beaten ABS-CBN’s debut action-drama teleserye, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’.
Coincidentally, it was also the start of MCAI’s finale week, which is scheduled to end on Friday, February 24. The Kapuso portal fantasy drama was supposed to end on Friday, February 13, but was extended to compete with the very significant first two weeks of FPJBQ.
MCAI is set to be replaced by the action-fantasy series ‘Mga Lihim ni Urduja’.
