Kapamilya love team Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil (LizQuen) are rumored to leave their home network.
Soberano and Gil are homegrown talents of the ABS-CBN network. The former is a Kapamilya since 2012 while the latter is with the Kapamilya network since 2008.
Currently, Soberano is in the United States to pursue a career in Hollywood, while Gil is briefly taking a break from acting.
In a report by Bulgar Online on February 15, they said that Gil will transfer to the GMA network.
The report said that since Gil’s love team partner is not in the country, the actor could be paired with new artists and transfer to GMA Network. Accordingly, the Kapuso management is eyeing Gil to work with Kapuso star Marian Rivera on a project.
On the other hand, Soberano has signed with the American-Filipino agency Careless Music.
In October 2022, showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin also mentioned about Gil’s transfer to GMA.
She criticized Gil’s alleged unreasonable demands to the GMA Network.
“Ang gusto raw ni Enrique yung mga writers nung gagawin nyang programa, mga writers nya dati sa ABS-CBN. Ang direktor na hahawak ay dapat direktor din mula sa ABS-CBN. Ang mga production crew ay hahakutin din yata nya, aba’y di sila na lang magproduce!” she said.
