Karylle will temporarily leave the noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ to focus on her theater career.
On February 17, via an interview with MJ Felipe, singer, actress, and TV host Karylle shared her excitement about being part of Manila’s staging of ‘The Sound of Music.’
The TV host shared, “I already filed my leave but for the rest of the cast di ko pa nae-explain yung demands ng show.”
She revealed, “Ganoon talaga. I think maiintindihan din ng madlang people because yun nga, umpisa pa lang, alam na nilang nag-audition ka, so ngayon na in-announce alam mo ang daming nagri-reply sa social media, nagulat nga ako, parang grabe yung excitement… sa mga Pilipino talaga, alam naman nating mahal na mahal nila si Maria at ang mga Von Trapp.”
On February 3, Vice Ganda released a statement amidst the allegations of him being rude to his ‘It’s Showtime’ co-host Karylle.
“Story time! Magkakasama kami ni K at Tyang and Anne sa dressing room. Di daw sya na-offend when I asked her. But I still apologized. So, to simplify WE ARE OK. ❤️,” Vice Ganda tweeted.
