The pink spirit continues to live on as several ‘Kakampink’ celebrities took to Twitter to remember the one-year anniversary of the start of the official presidential campaign.
In his tweet on February 8, social media influencer Ate Dick, or Inah Evans, recalled how the pink revolution started. He also thanked all ‘Kakampinks’ who shared the fight for a better country.
According to Ate Dick, “One year ago, the pink rallies started. And the revolution began. Ang mga namulat, hinding hindi na muling pipikit. Palaging titindig. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng ating mga pinagsamahan mga Kakampink. Para sa bayan.”

Former Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairman Andy Bautista also tweeted, sharing a photo of a clenched fist holding a pink ribbon. Pink was the campaign color of the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem.

Celebrity mom and another certified ‘Kakampink’, Pia Magalona, meanwhile, shared a photo of her wearing a pink shirt with the text “Ito pa rin ang gusto ko.”

“Drag” queen Lady Gagita, who was one of the constant figures in the Pink rallies, also shared her memory of February 8, 2022, when the Pink movement started.
