ABS-CBN’s newest action-drama series, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ (FPJBQ), is now the leader in entertainment programs after overtaking longtime leader ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ (MCAI).
Based on the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey, FPJBQ now holds the throne in the entertainment category after beating Kapuso portal fantasy series MCAI.
On Monday, February 13, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ premiered with a rating of 12.5 percent, 0.4 percent lower than MCAI’s 12.9 percent.
However, the next day, Tuesday, February 14, the Coco Martin-starrer teleserye climbed to the number 2 spot, beating MCAI 12.2 percent vs. 11.1 percent to claim leadership of the entertainment programs.
On Wednesday, February 15, FPJBQ retained its number one entertainment ranking with a rating of 13.8 percent, beating MCAI again, which scored 12.5 percent.
According to Kantar Media’s survey results on February 13, FPJBQ started the series with 21.4 percent, compared to 19.1 percent for MCAI.
In its next rating report on Wednesday, February 15, FPJBQ scored 22.6 percent, beating MCAI by 3 percent at 19.6 percent.
