Maria Clara at Ibarra (MCAI) stars Barbie Forteza and David Licauco teased fans about the continuation of Fidel and Klay’s (FiLay) love story.
On Tuesday, February 7, Forteza and Licauco revealed that the love story of Klay and Fidel will have a continuation.
“May continuation ang FiLay love story. May continuation or may elevation? Everything with Klay and Fidel was a coincidence. Parang it’s a fortunate accident,” Forteza said.
“Lalayag pa rin yung FiLay. I think as a team, yun yung ipapakita pa rin namin sa El Fili,” Licauco shared.
In a report by GMA News on January 31, Licauco hinted that he still wanted to work with Forteza on future projects.
“It’s a pleasure to work with Barbie so hopefully after this, siya pa rin ‘yung makakasama ko,” he said.
On the other hand, Forteza said that she hopes to see more of Licauco this year.
Licauco and Forteza got paired in MCAI with their ‘FiLay’ love team, a coined name of their characters Fidel and Klay.
